Right, so this is an update. Like so many others on Deviantart, I never really had any training in how to take a good photograph. I simply learned through experience. It seems I take the best photos when I go on a camera binge; literally exploring a location, capturing the moment and filtering through them later on the computer. You’ll notice most pictures I take are in rural settings because you get a greater scope in the picture. I go for extremism, either going the pristine route or something that has a rough, scratched or coarse feel to it. Last week, I dished out 800 Euro for a new camera and tripod meaning it may be time to hang up my trusty Fujifilm S6500. It’s early days so let’s see how she handles first. Statistics are your best friend and worst enemy. According to my hard drive I’ve nearly taken over 20,000 pictures. That’s a scary number. And it’s only going to get scarier. I take pictures all the time, and I use the camera for everything. It incorporates itself into other bits I make like Photoshop and Film Making and of course general use.
